WHAT WE DO

Risk mitigations, strategies for secure data destruction of hard drive, data devices, tapes, disks and paper shredding for documents.

We are fully insured to meet the strict data destruction guidelines of our customers. All our recycling and destruction procedures are facilitated on-site at our state of the art facility in Georgetown, Kentucky.

GES provides the required Recycling and Destruction Certificates to assist our clients in complying with several federal mandated acts such as Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Gramm-Leach-Biley Act, Bank Secrecy Act, HIPPA, Identity Theft, Assumption Deterrence Act and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act. We are fully compliant with Section 3010 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).

GES has a custom hard drive shredder and paper shredder on site and we deliver all necessary documentation to verify that we have followed through on secure data destruction. We can also provide our clients with a secure website where they can view from anywhere in the world real-time security video of their hard drive destruction.

Monthly random audits by an independent audit facility ensure that no data can be recovered from the hard drives we process at GES.

We are proud members of e-Stewards, BBB, ISRI, RIOS and more. We are proud members in good standing of three of the most prestigious organizations in the recycling and data destruction industry: BAN, Basel Action Network, one of only 21 companies in the world to be certified e-Stewards; ISRI, Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries; and NAID, National Association of Information Destruction.

We use only auditable, EPA-compliant downstream partners who adhere to our charter as a zero landfill electronics recycler. All GES downstream partners are transparent, creditable, and auditable.
